Hope Huddersfield Art

Hope Huddersfield Art

These pictures were painted at a Hope Huddersfield meeting where Christians from various Churches in our town had gathered together to pray for our town.  We had no prior discussion on what to paint, got busy and realised we both were painting pictures from Jeremiah 29:7 (Seek the peace and prosperity of the city from the NIV version of the bible and seek the welfare of the city from the ESV bible) The welfare, peace and prosperity of Huddersfield continues to be our prayer for our town, one picture being of St George’s Square in the middle of town representing the town itself (look closely and you will see the lion on the roof of the Lion Chambers) and the other picture of Castle Hill, representing the surrounding area of Kirklees.
