The verbal notices from last Sunday included the following:
Talkthru greatly appreciate all of the support that comes via Community Church. The recent Quiz Night was a fantastic event and we are pleased to let you know that we raised £452.29. Our next event is a Christmas baking event. “The Icing On Top” is on the 16th December at Westwood Christian Centre. There will be opportunity to bake, with or without your children. Pre-book your place on the Cake Design Workshop by contacting Talkthru on 01484 515137, or simply join us for a coffee and some cake!
A reminder about: Comedy & Carols on Thursday 14th December. Book tickets at: www.eventbrite.co.uk. And Celebrating Christmas with 9 Lessons & Carols on Sunday 17th December, 6:30pm.
Nathan Davies reminded us about the plight of Christians living and returning to live in Syria and Iraq. Nathan has a petition to the Secretary General to the United Nations to protect, in law, the rights of minorities, and for all faiths to have a role in the reconciliation and rebuilding of Syria & Iraq. Please contact Nathan Davies directly if you wish to sign this petition and please also pray into this situation.
Cheques from now on all need to be made payable to Rivertree Trust and our bank will no longer be accepting cheques payable to Community Church. This relates to the various funding applications that we are looking at to support future development.
