Action for Happiness

Our family-friendly ‘Breathe Happy Cafe’ was created in partnership with the Action For Happiness Movement.

CAP

Christians Against Poverty is a national charity with a vision to bring freedom and Good News to the poor.  In addition to debt counselling, CAP also offers a range of services to tackle the causes of debt and poverty in our communities.

The Evangelical Alliance is committed to uniting Christians locally, nationally and globally, in our shared mission.

HOPE Huddersfield

HOPE Huddersfield is the local expression of HOPE Together, a national Christian movement working towards transforming our town and our nation.

University Of Huddersfield’s Christian Union

Community Church is actively involved in The University Of Huddersfield’s Christian Union.  We support the students by meeting with their committee, along with other churches, to offer advice and help.  We occasionally provide speakers, finance and practical help for events.  We also have students under our care who become part of our family for their time in Huddersfield and beyond.

Talkthru

Talkthru offers confidential counselling for women and men facing pregnancy related issues such as pregnancy or baby loss.

There is no charge for counselling, but we ask for donations, however minimal.

The Welcome Centre

Community Church Huddersfield takes up a regular collection of donated food for The Welcome Centre, one of the largest food banks in the region that has been supporting people in South Kirklees for over 20 years.
